The app is about finding and exploring Nepal treks by World Map (filtered pins), Cue Cards (arranged in different ways and with data and pictures) and by Calendar. The treks can be separated, filtered and sorted in different way to suit your interests.
Dig deeper into a trek by moving to a Trek Base Map. Then have some fun exploring the trek on the ground by simulating a run/walk along the track or fly over the area using Satellite maps for a birds-eye view.

Why do I need the Trekking Nepal App?
1. Explore trek options from home or on the go by map, cards and calendar.
2. Access to trek information, news and updates on the go via mobile (before, during & after). News to All users or just by specific trek you are registered to.
3. Trek maps (online and offline) with tracks and basic GPS navigation. Plus walk/run and even fly through the course using Open Street or Satellite maps.
4. ‘Send my location’ feature for Organization check-in stations, to friends or for emergency help (coming soon).
5. Shop (register for events or buy stuff) from your phone by following links to agency websites.
6. User can Login within Profile tab (public & private settings) or use the app anonymously.
7. Interact with others via Community, Event participant forum. (No exchange of personal data needed to connect with trek participants).
8. App & Map Settings are configurable.
9. Achievements & Leaderboard (earn badges for event participation and points for App use).
10. Expand the app’s pool of treks by downloading Event Packs from other organizations and agencies.
