How it Works:
1. Download the app, then add your email, license plate, and a valid payment method.
2. Remove your vehicle from any previous tolling account(s).
3. Pay as you go with tolls in free-flowing fast lanes (tolls with gated arms are not supported).

Did NOT work
Set everything up: name, rental car plate, credit card. Toll tag closed. Ted Williams tunnel! I checked everything EVERYTHING twice! Charged $10 by Avis not the $1.50 this jank app was supposed to bill me. So… where’s the explanation of failure or any record on the app?

Great job NextPass Team!
This is a really-well built app that works really well. They charge about 15% for the service, but I think it’s worth it, because I don’t have to deal with the terrible state-run toll payment systems, which are truly terrible in most states. I’ve lived in 12 states in the last 10 years, so I have some familiarity, and using a license plate number (instead of a silly tag) is a much better way to track and pay tolls.
