Misc.09
Useful tool, but room for improvement.
This year’s experience with the AndMore app was an improvement over previous years, and it was helpful during the Atlanta Market. That said, there are still some usability issues. In the Market Plan, there’s no way to uncheck a vendor once they’re marked as “visited,” or to remove a vendor after visiting. This is frustrating if you accidentally mark a vendor, want to revisit them, or decide they’re not a fit and want to clean up your list. It would also be very helpful to filter the Market Plan to show only vendors visited or not yet visited. Scrolling through the full list to find who’s left to see was difficult. Also, it was out of date. It indicated vendors would be there, who were not listed in the printed book. It’s surprising the printed version was more up to date than the app. Also, I was registered for and attended the Atlanta Market, but am now receiving notifications for the Las Vegas market, even though I’m not registered or attending. Lastly, when you click the “Give Feedback” option in the app says, “Sorry, you don’t have access to this…” Overall, the app has improved and has good potential, and I hope the developers continue to build on it.
