----- Words from the Developer -----
I hope our future life is as fun as playing games, and all of us can live an active life!
"Games Change the World", when I first graduated, I was obsessed with going through TED talks, looking for life direction and some unique insights, and came across this bright title. "Aren't games for entertainment?" I clicked on the video with curiosity
It was exactly the same talk prepared by the author of Reality Is Broken, and her main point was that most gamers voluntarily devote a high level of attention to performing tasks in a virtual world, and the better the task is completed the happier they are, but why, in real life, people tend to be less satisfied with their work or always try to be a little bit more disciplined but have a hard time to stick to it!
This opened my mind. Yes, why is it that when I want to run or read, I often can't keep it up?
I think one of the answers lies in the "feedback drive". Many good habits and long term goals don't reward us in the short term, so we look for things that bring us timely pleasure to satisfy our greedy brains!
I hope this app will give you instant positive feedback to help you keep moving forward with your goals and good habits.
If Sisyphus could upgrade every time she pushed a stone, and also get a sense of accomplishment, would he be a little happier?
