No longer works on Remarkable after 11/2025 Update
This app worked great up until November 2025 when it stopped connecting to the Remarkable after its software update. It now returns an error: SocketException: Connection refused (OS Error: Connection refused, errno = 61), address = 192.168.1.116, port = 65127 Verify your reMarkable is awake and that you have entered the correct ip address. After waking up, your reMarkable may take a moment to be recognized.

Has stopped working
Was a great App. Since the last remarkable update it has stopped with the Error: SocketException: Connection refused (OS Error: Connection refused, errno = 61), address = 192.168.169.222, port = 49555
no free meals
Was great until it wasn’t
Used this almost a year and besides the fact I had to add screens after every update it was great. U til this last time it won’t connect at all been trying for over a week still nothing. So frustrating

Perfect!!
I installed the app on my IPhone and IMac. Tried several photos. Need to restart everytime which I kind of expected. Fanstastic results, takes any photo and transforms into black and white and you can see it before you load it the device. The possibilities are endless. I like the options currently with Sleep, or Restart. I have different images and they both work great! Highly recommend this app if you have the ReMARKable2. Thanks for creating!
