About SynapNet - Offline Messenger
Send a message directly! No cloud, No login, No hassle!
This is a peer-to-peer(p2p) messenger that doesn't require an internet connection. It allows you to easily and freely share text and files with other devices via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. It also offers advanced features such as intercom, video chats and real-time distance. You can use the app to chat and share with nearby devices even when there is no internet connection, or when the connection is weak. This could be useful at concerts, in crowded places, or just different room. It's quick, private, and always ready when you are. There's no need to set up an account or do anything complicated — just open the app and it'll connect you to all the other devices around you, allowing you to communicate with all your friends.
• No internet needed!
It works over local connections without requiring an internet.
• Works in crowded areas
Perfect for concerts, festivals, conferences and any other place with weak or overloaded networks.
• Instant offline messaging:
Send messages quickly and reliably without relying on an online service.
• Fast file sharing:
Share photos, documents and more instantly with nearby users.
• Simple and hassle-free
No accounts, passwords or complicated setups — just open and connect.
Have you ever considered sending messages directly to others via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi instead of going all the way around the internet?
Maybe you just want:
- A messenger that works locally without the internet
- Private chats with family in different rooms
- Effectively share bulk files and images with your team members
Give it a try if you're looking for an alternative to Bluetooth sharing or a local network transfer method (LAN). It's like a WiFi or Bluetooth walkie-talkie.
- Why build this
During the pandemic, it became clear how crucial it is to communicate, especially in emergencies. It’s frustrating when people are close by but can’t reach each other, despite today’s advanced technology.
That inspired me to create an app that lets devices send messages and data directly—no accounts or internet needed—similar to old LAN messaging apps on PCs.
I would love to hear how this application help your communication. Your feedback helps me continue to improve.

Helpful after Bonjour removed from messages app
We were looking for a messaging app to fill in the gap when messages dropped support for bonjour local network messaging. This app gives you the ability to broadcast messages to all the other synapsenet apps on the local network without creating an account. You cannot send directly to only one computer, but instead you broadcast to the group of users running the app at the moment. REALLY wish there were a push notification integrated, but there is no notification on this app version Thanks for a great app
