From poor to awful
While this app was previously klutzy, this latest revision is horrible. After the splash screen ad goes away, only one third of my iPhone 7 display is used for the news. The top one third is the logo (here is news - I saw that already), and the bottom third is a tool bar. Local news is the reason for the app's existence, but most stories end after two paragraphs with "This is a developing story". This on top of slow response makes this revision unusable.

90 degrees off likeability!
I know in an instant after opening an app whether I’m going to keep it or not. It forces me to rotate my iPad?.. …. it’s Buhh-BYE folks! Question for the developers; you have a widescreen TV at home, I’m sure. Do you stand it on it’s end (side) to watch it vertically!??
