With the increase in foodbanks in the UK MyFoodBank has been created to help manage your stock levels and ease the administrative duties of your volunteers.
The app can be used by your stock takers to:
To scan food items that you receive and add it to your stock count
Scan items being transported to another branch out of stock
Scan items being received from another branch into stock
Record the total weight of food received
Your parcel packers to:
Receive notifications for the days they are due to work
Put themselves forward for days where you are understaffed
View the parcels that need to be made along with the food items that need to be included
Scan items into the parcel to help ensure nothing is missed
Allergy checks are made against the details available under the family record with each item that is scanned
Add notes to the parcel
Record any changes made to the items included or the absense of intended items
Notify you and the delivery driver that the parcel has been created and is ready to go
Create parcels for those who turn up at the door of the foodbank for help
Your delivery drivers to:
Receive notifications for the days they are due to work

See the parcels they are due to deliver today or in the future

Have their route planned out for them based on their current location
