Overview: What does this update provide?
- Auto connect - ability for the user to have their device auto connect with the speaker after turning the speaker on
- lodgeLINK mode – This feature (available at launch) allowed users to connect multiple speakers together in ‘party mode’. With the new firmware update, the user can choose to make lodgeLINK activation permanent. This means that if the speakers were put in lodgeLINK mode by the user initially, then every time the user powers on those speakers in the future, they will automatically go into lodgeLINK mode (note: this works for stereo mode as well).
- Bass Boost – With this update, the use has a choice to make Bass boost activation permanent on their speaker. This means that if Bass boost turned on by the user initially, then every time the speaker is turned on in the future, bass boost will automatically be activated.

Good and Bad on the 2025 Firmware Update
Updating the speakers was easy and I like that they’ll now link automatically when I turn them on. But there seems to be some software issues. The sound from one speaker will randomly drop out or break up. That’s disappointing because these things were rock solid before the update. Still love the speakers and recommend them without reservation. Just hoping they can get the software sorted out.

Great speakers
I have two version 2 speakers playing in stereo bass mode. This update fixes the minor annoyances with manually connecting. For those who are cautious about buying these speakers without hearing them, don’t worry. You won’t be disappointed. They sound great outdoors and seem to be holding up well in my Louisiana weather.
