About Dallas Viet Radio

DVR - Dallas Viet Radio was founded to contribute to building a stronger Vietnamese-American community, heighten our mutual appreciation, assistance, and preserving the culture of Vietnam. DVR started broadcasting on January 6, 2003, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to the Vietnamese in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex with a population of approximately more than 150,000 and growing. In cooperation with a number of other Vietnamese stations in the US, DVR provides its listeners with Breaking News, Editorials, special interviews with community activists and politicians. Entertainment with music, plays, poetry, storytelling, musical contest hours. Education with Conversation English lessons and “How-To” programs. Informative Talk Shows relating to law, immigration, health services, voter-registration drives.
