Gemlogis Inspector App for use with the PL-Inspector or Jewelery Inspector.
The app allows you to use your camera to take images of jewelery or gemstones , using the same settings for both short-wave ultra-violet (SWUV) and long-wave ultra-violet (LWUV) illuminations. The controlled settings are for exposure, ISO, colour temperature and focus. The two images can then be compared either through alternating views or using a slider. Images with SW and LW labelling can be saved to your image gallery. These observations can help a gemmologist determine whether a diamond or gem is synthetic or treated.
