About Gottcha - IRL Hide and Seek

Looking for an exciting new way to get active with friends? Look no further than Gottcha, the free-to-play mobile game that combines technology with the classic game hide and seek!

With two different gameplay modes and customizable game times, Gottcha offers endless fun and challenges for players. Join our beta community and help shape the future of this thrilling game!

* How you play the game

The game consists of searchers and hiders. The hiders must remain hidden from the searcher throughout the game, while also staying within the designated game area. The searcher's goal is to locate and eliminate all the hiders within the game's time limit. When a searcher finds a hider, he uses the app to tag them by clicking ‘Gottcha'. If the hider is within a 20-meter radius of the searcher, they are eliminated from the game. This rule ensures that the searcher cannot cheat.

* Limitations

The maximum number of players is 6 (1 searcher and 5 hiders.)

* Game modes

The game offers two different gameplay modes.

Shrink: In this mode, the game area will gradually shrink over time, and hiders must stay active and move constantly to avoid being caught. The game area will shrink every 10 minutes, and each time it does, the hiders' locations will be revealed to the searcher for 10 seconds. This mode adds an extra level of challenge and excitement to the game.

Normal: In this mode, the game area will remain the same size throughout the game, and the hiders' locations will be revealed to the searcher every 10 minutes for 10 seconds. This mode offers a more traditional gameplay experience for players who prefer a less dynamic game area.

* Game Time

Before starting the game, the creator of the game have the option to choose from four different game time options. This allows players to customize the game to their preferred length and level of challenge.
