GlobeARound to Earth is an Augmented Reality App developed to navigate the Tecnodidattica globe with your smartphone and discover interactive and multimedia contents related to the geography of our planet.
By focusing the camera of your device on the sphere of the globe, it’s possible to visualize, in overlay, animals, plants and important geographical sites in 3D.
With the simple touch of your finger it will be possible to choose and to interactively visualize individual elements, rotate and enlarge them, listen to sounds, descriptions, see images and read fact sheets.
In the App there are the following:
-88 3D models of plants and animals
-10 3D models of dinosaurs
-36 3D models of buildings and important geographical sites
-134 descriptive text cards
-134 audio clips of details and interesting facts
The interactive content is accessible and usable not only in augmented reality mode but also with a simple 3D interface with the touch of a finger.
How it works:
-Download the GlobeAR App using the QR code or on the Online Store
In AR mode:
-Focus the camera on the globe and choose the continent to study
-Choose the type of content (animals, plants, buildings and sites)
-Tap to download the 3D model
-Visualize the content in Augmented Reality on the globe
-Tap on a single element to visualize interactively and read or listen to details and facts.
In 3D mode:
-Using the 3D interface choose the continent to study
-Proceed as in the AR mode.
All content in the App has been originally developed by Tecnodidattica: there are no links to other sites nor advertising.
