What is Reecharge App?
Reecharge App is a portable way to practice the water drops exercise which is used to improve attention and focus. Originally, this method is suggested to practice using a water tap at a very slow speed and watching the drops. But, it is inconvenient to practice this using a water tap, so we made a portable way to practice it by delivering the core principle of this method in a video screen right within a mobile app.
How to Practice?
Rest your phone in a vertical standing position on your desk, at about 1 feet distance from you, and start the practice. See if you can observe each drop- how it forms, how it falls, and how it splashes onto the ground. Simply keep doing this until however long you wish. This method is similar to other methods used for focus such as a candle flame method or a dot method.
Features;
1) Choose Practice duration: For a quick relaxing and soothing break from work or study, you can select a 2 minute practice. To enhance focus and attention you can select longer duration such as 5 min or 10 minutes of practice. The video plays for selected time frame.
2) Easy Navigation: At any point during practice of viewing the video screen, you can simply swipe in any direction and it takes you back to home screen.
3) Time stats: The timer automatically logs whenever the video screen fires up and it logs the duration of time you did your drops practice. Its nice to have a stat screen which shows how long you practiced the exercise.
4) Multi-purpose Use: Use it to focus, relax, improve attention, listen to soothing sounds and watch soothing video.
