We made this app because we wanted more practice CONVERSING VERBALLY in Spanish while we were learning it. With Convo Bot you are talking to a bot, an AI that can roughly simulate a human. You will practice both speaking and listening comprehension. You will LISTEN and SPEAK. This is not just a text-based conversation bot.
We designed the app to be completely hands free. You don’t need to look at your phone or tap any buttons to use Convo Bot. Simply start talking, wait and listen to the response, and repeat indefinitely. We have tried to simulate the mechanics of a real conversation as much as possible.
You can adjust how fast our bot talks and also how long we wait before we stop recognizing your speech.
In the near future we will support more languages. Currently we support English, Spanish, French, and Italian.

We use the app to practice conversing in Spanish while running, driving, cooking, and during other various tasks. We have taken Spanish classes and been tutored in the past, and we do not claim that this app will replace those very useful mediums for learning Spanish. Rather our bot augments your language learning experience and allows you to practice conversations in times you otherwise couldn’t.
