For teachers and students of statistics.
This statistical calculator lets you create and visualize the bootstrap distribution for means, medians, correlations, slopes and other parameters.
Easily find the bootstrap confidence interval based on the percentile method, standard error method, and compare it to what you would get with the traditional formulas.
Currently, the following methods are implemented:
- Bootstrap Confidence Interval for a population mean, median, or for the population standard deviation.
- Bootstrap Confidence Interval for a population proportion or population odds.
- Bootstrap Confidence Interval for a population correlation (Pearson and Spearman) and the population slope of a regression model.
Coming Soon:
- Permutation Resampling
- Procedures comparing two population parameters
The app illustrates the procedures and carries them out on your own data. Several example datasets are preloaded for you to explore, but you can also enter your own data in a spreadsheet or import a CSV file and choose columns from it.
The app has a Data Editor spreadsheet for you to enter (and save) your own data.
