I genuinely love this app and prefer it over other video platforms. However, the new messaging feature is extremely disappointing — especially because there is no option to disable it. I am a married woman, and I do not appreciate strangers messaging me with terms like “baby” or “hey beautiful.” It creates an uncomfortable and inappropriate environment. It also opens the door to scams and unwanted advances. Users should have the ability to control their privacy. A messaging feature without an opt-out option is not user-friendly and does not prioritize safety. If a disable option is not added soon, I will seriously consider uninstalling the app permanently. Please give users the choice to protect their space.
