Like seriously, that’s it. It's that simple. Since I have plenty of characters left in this description, here's a longer description:
——HOW IT STARTED——
Me: Will there be a clicker or something?
Them: It’s too far for the clicker, about 70m away.
Me: Oh that’s sad, do u want a custom clicker
Them: Custom clicker?
Me: It’s just a fancy next button
…a week, and a nerve wracking presentation using OAK later, here we are, on the App Store.
——CLICK ANYWHERE——
Break free from the shackles of conventional clickers! OAK lets you click through slides from anywhere, regardless of whether you’re a metre away, a kilometre away, or on the other end of the world.
——CONNECT QUICKLY——
Scan a QR code on your Mac to connect your iPhone/iPad to it and you can start clicking away. No more saying magic words like “next” to advance, just tap on your phone. You even have the added ability to wave your phone like a magic wand while presenting, it makes you look like a crazy wizard.
OAK also works on your iPad, so there's nothing really stopping you from waving your iPad around like a magic wand. You might look absolutely ridiculous and get strange looks from your audience, but who am I to tell you what to do.
——SEAMLESS INTEGRATION——
It literally just presses the left and right arrow keys. That’s it. So it works with every presentation platform out there like Keynote, PowerPoint, Google Slides, and more! Just connect your iOS device to your Mac, and start clicking away.
——MULTI-PRESENTER——
More than one presenter? No problem. Just scan the QR code on everyone’s device and start presenting! Perfect for webinars, presentations, and literally any online/offline situation where you might need a clicker.
——PRIVACY——
The app connects to an online database to allow the Mac and iOS device to communicate from anywhere. There’s no identifying information uploaded.
All data is deleted after each session and we try to upload as little data as possible. It does help keep our database costs low.
I am honestly surprised I am able to write so much about, what is essentially, a wireless keyboard with just 2 keys that connects via the internet.
