The RRS 2023 app is designed to help Rise Global Winners have a safe and fruitful experience at the Rise Residential Summit. It includes programming agenda, event logistics, bios of winners and speakers, emergency contact, and general support information.
Each year, Rise invites up to 100 Rise Global Winners (RGWs) to attend a fully funded Residential Summit with other members of the cohort. The Summit will expose RGWs to advanced discoveries and innovations that are changing the world, and expand their minds with possibility.
Programming will focus on 6 SF strategic areas: AI, Astrophysics, Engineering Biology, Education Technology, Sustainability and Social Entrepreneurship. Programming will incorporate both technical and creative components, ensuring that RGWs are exposed to and able to express interest in topical areas using different approaches.
The Summit has three major purposes: 1) teach the RGWs about the frontier of innovation today, in order to open their minds about how to solve problems in new, technical and interdisciplinary ways, 2) the Summit is being designed to connect Winners to each other and to experts that can help them advance their projects in communities, and 3) most fundamentally, the Summit is being devised to build Winner identity toward service before they go to college.
