About 222 - find your people.

we won't tolerate a future where we're robbed of our attention and pulled into a virtual reality.

222 finds you the people you'll get along with and sends you to the places you'll love.

this is not a dating app.
this is not a friend-making service.
this is not networking.
this is not mindless scrolling.
this is not random.
this is not a distraction.
this is not the metaverse.

222 is an opportunity to choose chance.

no profiles, no DMs, no scrolling, no swiping.
just say "yes" & explore the chance encounters you'd have never experienced.

note:
222 sends invites to social experiences happening nearby.
at experiences, 222 finds you the people you're most compatible with based on your curation profile.
experiences are always in public & in a group setting.
each member is vetted before being selected for an experience.

I love this! I've met so many wonderful people and it's helped me come out of my shell and have experiences I've always wanted to have and never knew about before. So thankful! I think this is Nobel Peace Prize worthy.

Subpar Experiences, if you can even get selected…
The selection process is non-transparent and, based on the people I’ve spoken with at the events I’ve been to, mostly based on who the ‘curators’ like the most. Many of the curators attend the events with their selected friends, which creates an in-group that gets to reliably attend any event they want while others get waitlisted for all but maybe the one event per month they’re obligated to provide for the subscription. Then there’s the fact that the events can be horribly planned (e.g. reserving outdoor restaurant seating during winter with freezing wind) and the ‘best matches’ they select for you are based on lazy criteria like working in the same industry or liking travel. The majority of my match groups have been subpar. A lot of these reviews are from insiders/curators fyi

Design issues
I’m not a big fan of their UX. When I open the app, I don’t want to see iMessage alerts that you’re verified now. Also, half of the time background thread items are not updating properly and you have to kill the app and reopen it.

Impressive
222 Has been consistent and very organized, and has delivered what is promised - connections, quality people, and unique and fun ways to connect in smaller and then also larger circles, be it dinner, museum, tea ceremonies, dance classes, or a bar afterwards! I have enjoyed the events I have attended and thankful for the people I have met! Thanks 222!

Pleasantly surprised
The app experiences makes it feel like a quest. There are many questions to fill out but they are very thought provoking. Matches were done very well.
