New for ASCA Rally!
Rally is like learning a language. My Rally Coach provides in-depth hints and diagrams making signs easy to understand and Rally School provides additional content all to help with your fluency.
My Rally Coach covers all the ASCA Rally signs that’ll help get you from Start to Finish, but that’s not all, it also covers topics that’ll get you and your dog better prepared for a trial and from the Crate to the Gate and into the ring — more confidently!
Many Rally classes and instructional resources focus primarily on how to perform signs. That’s great, but there’s so much more that goes into successful Rally — much of which comes before entering the ring.
For basic understanding of signs and rules, My Rally Coach ASCA Edition has you covered with up-to-date sign descriptions, a visual indicator for which level and which classes each sign may appear — and so you always have the official ASCA Rally Program Rules Book handy, it’s in there too!
For quick, easy reference, signs are organized by level — and for training or teaching certain types of exercises — signs are also sorted into different categories, (changes of direction, fronts, finishes, pivots, cones, etc.).
Another feature that’s great for trial day or for training and teaching sessions, each sign can be tagged three different ways to isolate for even more focused attention, “Signs on My Course,” “My Favorites,” and “My Least Favorites.” Additionally, Signs on My Course includes a total sign count, a tally of signs from each level, and how many stationary signs are on your course.
That’s the free stuff, and we’re just getting started!
If you want to be a good teammate for your dog, you’ll want a deeper understanding of signs and how to perform them, subscribers have access to detailed instructional hints, many include diagrams to make things easier to visualize, the most common handler errors and additional details based on sign type. The extra details really come in handy at a trial when you want a little more clarity — and for instructors you might discover new ways to make things easier for your students to understand.
If you want to be a great teammate, you need to be fluent in more than just signs. Do you know what it takes to prepare your dog to trial? It’s a whole lot more than teaching signs and behaviors, and the trial environment is a lot different than the training environment. Do you know when you should or shouldn’t retry a sign, or how to get the most out of your course walkthrough, do you understand what the principal parts of the signs are or what commands you can or can’t give? These are just some of the topics covered in the Rally School section which is part of the subscription too.
My Rally Coach isn’t just for newbies — it’s a great teaching tool too! So, whether you’re new to Rally or a seasoned pro, My Rally Coach has something for every Rally enthusiast!
