The AI is too easy.
More often than not, it feels like the AI either just kills itself, or has no self preservation and runs straight into your beam instead. Would be nice to have the game feel like a battle of Witt and quick decisions rather than simply driving on your side of the board long enough for the other guy to kick the bucket himself. Another thing on my mind is the engagement. Because of the starting position, there isn’t really any battle. A easy fix for this is to relocate the spawn points more towards the center of the screen, and have the light cycles move towards eachother by default. With some simple changes, this could be a great game for some simple pleasure and quick fun.
