The poor controls really hold this game back
I’m with everyone else in the general opinion that while the premise of a retro-style mario game set on Guam is awesome, the controls need a lot of work. It’s just too inconsistent to get Pario to either sprint or jump, which makes getting across the gaps or even jumping on top of enemies far too difficult. Heck I couldn’t even finish the 1st level. There is potential here… it just needs some better control to make it shine.
