About Barbu Card Game
Le Barbu is a French card game that is of the trick-taking family of games, like Hearts and Spades. It is played with 4 players with a standard 52-card deck with cards ranked from 2 being the lowest to Ace being the highest. Each player will take turns playing a card into the current trick or pile. The first player to play a card into the current trick sets the starting suit, and each other player must play a card of the starting suit if they have one or any card if they don't. Once each player has played a card into the trick, the player that played the highest card of the starting suit wins the pile, and points are awarded based on the current round.
Traditionally in Le Barbu, there are 6 rounds that are played sequentially. Those being the no hearts, no queens, no king of hearts (the barbu), no tricks or piles, nothing, and everything. Each changes how points are awarded, with the first 5 rounds awarding points and the last round removing points. But in Le Barbu, points are bad! You want to have the fewest points to win!
In addition, this app introduces a new game type -- the chaos round! The chaos round is a unique way to play Barbu, where two to three rounds are chosen randomly and combined together to create a unique round. Every time you play you'll be tested on a different combination of points. It introduces many round types that are not part of the traditional game.
Have fun with the game!

Love the game, but
Super fun game. There is one thing I would change though. The players never rotate who starts a round, so you are always leading the same round AKA for the "Everything" round, the person on the left always starts. This means they always have an easier time controlling the table if they have high cards. Kind of annoying, but still giving 5 stars because it isn't stopping me from playing...for now.

That’s a good looking beard!
I got to learn a fun new card game without having to worry about being monetized in any way, couldn’t ask for more!
