Love and Truth meet in the street,
Right Living and Whole Living embrace…Psalm 85:10(a) MSG
In Cincinnati, bridges connect the historic north and south. In this place, where the underground railroad once served as a bridge to freedom across the Ohio River, bridges now connect people freely.
Cincinnati is a strong community with a sense of place, belonging, and neighborliness. Here, people embrace where they live and care about their neighbors. They have much to teach us about what it means to be together and to be in unity.
Our nation is divided. Our communities are divided. We need bridge builders and peacemakers to embrace those who they disagree with and find solutions to problems in our nation and communities.
We do not need this world’s shallow superficial peace; instead, we need to embrace God’s peace, wholeness, and shalom. It is in this unified pursuit of God’s shalom, alongside our neighbors, where we will truly see our communities flourish.
Join us October 4-7th as we learn together how to:
• Embrace love
• Embrace truth
• Embrace righteousness (right living)
• Embrace peace (whole living)
