Fantasia Enclosure is designed as an augmented reality installation that questions the possibility of virtual life and relationship with the virtual, by placing known animals and human companions, to run around in the same space as the people. The audience is encouraged to approach them and to interact with them as they wander in 3D space.
The application starts with a story to introduce the user in the virtual space. Afterwards, the user needs to create the boundaries of the 3D space in which the virtual animals will appear. Once the user confirms the space, animals start appearing all around. The application requires rear camera to view the real space which is augmented.
