About KSMART - Local Self Government
KSMART is an initiative of Information Kerala Mission to provide citizens , a convenient and efficient way to access services from the local self government institutions such as Birth Certificates , Marriage Certificates etc. The app aims to strengthen the relationship between the local governments and citizens by improving transparency, efficiency and accountability in the governance process.
The app helps to streamline public services. It provides self-service access to local government services, improve responsiveness and efficiency across all services, and reduce the human labour involved in serving many of the citizen needs.
We envisage to incorporate different functional modules used in local self government institutions into a single mobile app. Civil registration, file management, building permit, property tax, public grievance redressal, human resource management system, welfare pensions are some of the upcoming modules in this mobile app.
