About Stoplight: Daily Routines
With the Stoplight Routine Method, you create three versions of each routine: High-Energy, Average Energy, and Low Energy. Each day, you decide which version of your routine you have the energy to do. You keep your streak by completing any version of your routine.
- High-Energy: this is the routine you do when you have lots of energy and motivation. This routine will probably have a lot of steps.
- Average Energy: this is the go-to version of your routine that you would do on most days when you have an average amount of energy
- Low-Energy: this is the version of your routine that you’ll do on days when you have very little motivation and energy. This routine might only include one step instead of multiple, so you can still stay on track with your goals.
- [BONUS] Super-Low-Energy: this version of your routine is for those super low energy, barely-make-it-out-of-bed days. This might just have one small task on it, like “brush your teeth for 10 seconds”.

It works!
This app is the only app that has helped me stick to a night routine. On nights where I’m feeling extra tired, I can do my “low energy” routine that’s just 1 step. This has helped me build the habit of doing *something* each night, even if it’s not my full routine, and I’m seeing great long term benefits! I want to work it into my morning routine as well. The developers are very responsive to feedback and very kind!

Great for productivity
This app has helped me so much in feeling more productive and sticking to a routine. Sometimes a large to-do list and check list can seem really scary and tiring, but this app helps me get over my decision paralysis and get work done! I would recommend this app to anyone who is trying to build and keep consistent routines and habits!
