About Smart Power 50 - WiFi Setup
This app is used to provision or setup Wi-Fi to enable OTA updates, Google Home, and Amazon Alexa integration (only for transformer serial numbers 24-0001 and higher).
To check if your transformer has Wi-Fi capabilities, open the Smart Power 50 Bluetooth app , connect to your transformer and go to the about tab. If your Hardware Version number is 50 or greater then you have Wi-Fi capabilities and this app will work to setup Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, if your Hardware version is less than 50, it does not have Wi-Fi built in and only Bluetooth will work.
If you have any issues connecting with the BLE device, remove the paired device in the Phone's Bluetooth settings.
Additional setup is required in Google Home and Alexa apps after the Wi-Fi setup is complete.
Once provisioned, you can remove this app. If Wi-Fi settings change, you will need to reinstall and set up Wi-Fi again.
