About Health Sync by appyhapps

Health Sync synchronizes data between health and fitness apps. Health Sync currently supports syncing from Apple Health, Coros, Fitbit, Garmin Connect, Huawei Health, Oura, Polar Flow, Strava and Suunto to Apple Health, Coros, Fitbit, Intervals.icu, Runalyze, Strava and Suunto. Additional source and destination apps will be added with future updates.

It will sync data from the time you first use the app. Historical data (all data before the day of installation) can be synced after the free trial period. With Garmin Connect you can sync the last five years of activity data, and the last two years of other data (steps, sleep, heart rate etc.). With Polar Flow you can't sync historical data.

The sync runs automatically in the background a few times per hour (due to iOS restrictions on background processes). Activity GPS data is synced to Apple Health when the phone screen is unlocked. If activity data is synced while the phone is locked, Health Sync will add the GPS data to the Apple Health workout data the next time you open the Health Sync app.

Syncing from Apple Health requires your phone to be unlocked.

Health Sync is very easy to use. It offers a one-week free trial period. After the trial period, you can make a one-time purchase (lifetime license) to continue using the app and access the historical data sync option.

Try the app and see if it fits your needs. The data you can sync depends on the source app from which you sync data and the destination app(s) to which you sync the data.

Health Sync uses a privacy-by-design approach. The sync processes data on your phone, not on cloud servers. Your data won't be used and can't be accessed by others. Read the privacy policy for details.

Syncing between health data apps sometimes doesn't work as expected. Don't worry; almost all issues can be solved easily. You can check the Help Center menu in Health Sync. If you can't resolve the issue, you can send a Health Sync problem report (the last option in the Help Center menu) or email info@appyhapps.nl. You will receive support to solve the sync issue.

Works great!
I use this app to sync the data from my Fitbit to the Apple Health app and I can confirm it works. It's also much less expensive than the other apps ($4 lifetime license).

Doesn't work as advertised
I was switching from Android to Apple and this app was recommended to move my Samsung health steps to Apple health steps by moving the data through a 3rd lane. I paid for the app both on Samsung/Google and on Apple and it did not work. I submitted a request for help and they were not helpful and didn't not issue a refund when requested. Save yourself the money and trouble and avoid this app.

Apple Health Sync
Fitbit to Apple health sync is pretty solid for steps and converting over to my “Move” ring in Apple Fitness. However when I log the activity as a “workout” in Fitbit it’s only recognized as a steps (even though it’s heavy strength training) and is converted to my “move ring” again. So in Apple fitness it looks like I’ve done an exceptional amount of cardio rather than cardio and traditional strength training. I have all of the toggles turned on to sync with Fitbit to Apple health. I’d like to see an update where it properly logs activity.

Only fitbit synchronizer you should buy
Hands down the best and only one you should buy. This app is $3.99 and should cost more but hopefully the developer doesn’t see that part. Other apps are expensive and I spent more on app than on Fitbits and the others are useless. Other apps just sync a lump some pf steps. This apps syncs them at the time they actually happen. Also, with GPs workouts, this apps syncs the map. This app maps fitbit seems like a native apple device. It syncs when your fitbit is syncing. I wish I can do multiple accounts but maybe in the futre

iOS 26
I never got those to synch with ios 26. It just says synching and it stays there forever. EDIT: Developer contacted me. I have the latest app version but synching is intermittently successful. The sync icon often rotates for minutes with nothing happening. Will update this review after testing it more for a few days.

Good app, does the job
The app is highly effective for syncing data between Fitbit and Apple health since I use both google and apple devices. The price for premium service is reasonable and I appreciate that it’s onetime instead of subscription. The UI does seem a bit dated and is a little bit cumbersome to use, but this is mostly offset by the good functionality and low cost

Solid No Frills App
I downloaded this to get my Fitbit steps into Pikmin Bloom. I tried a bunch of other apps but this was the first that was fairly priced for it’s functionality. I bought it 3 hours after the trial to support the dev.

Simple and Priced Right
Finally!! Something simple that works—and isn’t going to cost me a hundred bucks a year. I love apps that don’t require subscribing forever.

Turtle Garmin Connect Developers
Finally a solution to integrate Garmin and Apple Health (all data). Thousands of Garmin users since 5 years ago asking them for a solution!

They listen to user feedback!
I requested a feature to track distance for Spinning on Fitbit. Fitbit doesn’t have the capability to track natively. The developer was always quick to respond to me and was very helpful! 1 week later, and they released an update including the feature I suggested! I’m so happy!
