About Lucky for Safari
You can block spammy sites with a block list that syncs across all your devices via iCloud. Lucky fetches Google’s results and shows them on *Yahoo*, so you can fall back to Google if needed. It also offers a non-buggy dark mode.
If you are unhappy with Google and still want an air-gapped way to use it, give Lucky a try. I hope you find it useful.

Much simpler
Makes Google much nicer to use. It’s a simple list with less garbage. Sometimes the Google info isn’t totally useless but it’s rare. The website filtering is a little basic and will filter out all sites that end in those characters— so if you’re blocking a one letter domain, it’ll block anything ending in that letter. Those are basically the only downsides, and they’re nothing compared to dealing with Google’s bloat.
