About Tax Exempt
このアプリは外務省発行の免税カードをお持ちの方がご利用いただけるアプリです。
免税購入時に手書きの免税購入表を作成していただいておりますが、免税購入システムを導入している店舗においては、本アプリが発行する二次元コードを店舗に提示すると、免税カードの提示や免税購入表の記入が不要になります。
ただし、免税購入システムを導入していない店舗では引き続き免税購入表の記入が必要です。
なお、本アプリを利用して免税購入する場合であっても、従来どおり外交官身分証明票の提示は必要です。
本アプリは、免税カード番号等の身分情報を基とするアクティベーションが必要です。
アクティベーションが済んだら、免税店舗で提示する二次元コードを発行する機能と、免税店舗を検索する機能をご利用いただけます。
※不正利用を防止するため、アプリをインストールする端末（スマートフォン）の個体識別番号（UDID）を収集します。

免税店舗で提示する二次元コードを発行する機能です。
②店舗検索機能（DS Search）
店舗名の一部、業種（選択）、都道府県（選択）で免税店舗を検索します。
また、近くの店舗検索機能は、端末の位置情報を利用します。
※位置情報は、店舗検索に際して端末内のみで利用され、本アプリが収集することはありません。 。
※免税店舗の検索結果は、免税購入システムを導入する店舗とは限りません。また、店舗の位置情報は必ずしも最新のものとは限りません。

This app is available for users who have a tax-exempt card issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. By presenting the 2D code generated by this application at the stores that have implicated a ‘tax exemption purchasing web system’, it is no longer necessary to provide your tax exemption card and fill out a purchase form, ‘Certificate of Tax Exemption Purchase for Foreign Establishments’. However, the stores that do not have the web system in place will still need to complete the form. Please be advised that, even when making tax-exempt purchases using this app, it remains necessary to present your ID card as per standard procedure.
This app requires activation using your information, including your tax exemption card number. Upon activation, you will have access to the function for generating a 2D code to be presented at Designated Stores, as well as the function for searching any Designated Stores.
*To prevent fraudulent use, the app gathers the unique device identifier (UDID) of the device (smartphone).
1. 2D Code Issuing Function (2D Code Issue)
This function generates the 2D code to be presented at Designated Stores.
2. Store Search Function (DS Search)
You can search for Designated Stores by entering a portion of the store's name, selecting an industry category, or choosing a prefecture. Please note that the nearby store search function uses the device's location information.
*The location information is used only within the device for store searches and is not collected by this app.
*Search results for Designated Stores may not exclusively reflect those that have implemented the ‘tax exemption purchasing web system’. Additionally, store location information may not always reflect the most recent updates.
