About the Internet Puzzle Database

The Internet Puzzle Database (IPDb) is a comprehensive puzzle reference platform where users can discover and explore a vast collection of jigsaw puzzles. The database boasts over 22,000 fully indexed puzzles from more than 800 brands, contributed by nearly 500 puzzle enthusiasts from 56 countries in its first year. IPDb offers an organized, user-driven approach to cataloging puzzles, allowing users to submit their own puzzles to the growing collection. The platform does not offer puzzle-solving functionality but serves as a rich resource for puzzle lovers to research, compare, and find information on various puzzle types, brands, and designs.

clunky

overall the app and website are clunky. loaded with emojis and no clear border between different parts of the site. and im really not a fan of the ai image prompting me to sign up (puzzles are made to celebrate artists, ai is theft and is killing artists. ai enables scammers). every search i make results in “0 results found” despite me looking up really basic things. i think this is largely because there are not many puzzles uploaded to this database, so hopefully that improves. i would love to upload my jigsaw images (specifically my vintage ones) but i will not if theres AI images as part of your UI. furthermore, i think the emojis for every tag is excessive. twitter for instance does not use an emoji as part of the tag, its unnecessarily cluttering. the emojis under every post are not intuitive and also cluttering. seems more like i have to know the insider terms to understand the emoji hieroglyphics, but this is a database that should be understood by all. like what is ⭐️5(1) vs ❤️3(1)? 5 favorites? likes? impressions? whats in the paranthesis? overall, im not a fan, i like the concept the execution is messy and clunky

Best App for Puzzle Enthusiasts!

IPDb is a database of jigsaw puzzles populated by puzzler enthusiasts like you and me. You can enter puzzles into the database, rate and review, or just browse the thousands of puzzles already entered. It has wonderful features such as organizing your collection in folders, maintaining wish lists, tracking completion dates and times, and many more. The admin team is very responsive to questions and suggestions through the help support. I highly recommend!
