Newborn Check

Newborn Check is a free app developed by CureforU to help parents, caregivers, midwives and nurses recognize early signs of life-threatening conditions in newborns. The app uses simple visual guidelines and symptom-based decision trees to highlight urgent risks (such as abnormal stool/vomit color, jaundice, breathing distress, abdominal swelling, or congenital malformations) and guide users to seek timely pediatric care. Designed especially for low-resource settings, the app empowers families to act early—potentially saving lives. This app is not a diagnostic tool and does not replace medical advice.
