About Nanolume Pro
You hurt. Your pain is constant, often overwhelming, and hard to describe. You want your doctors to understand what you're going through, but it’s not always easy to remember or explain every detail.
PAIN IS LIFE-CHANGING. HELP IS HERE.
At Nanolume®, we created the Pain Tracker & Diary PRO to help you track the types, intensities, and locations of your pain. This makes it easier for you and your healthcare team to understand your pain and see how it responds to treatments and medications.
A TOOL FOR BETTER UNDERSTANDING
Our easy-to-use app helps you track three key aspects of your pain—intensity, location, and surface area—for each type of pain you experience. No other pain-tracking app offers this unique patented ability. With just a few taps and traces, you can create a clear picture of your pain, even when different types overlap at the same time. As you track your pain over time, Nanolume® Pro helps you spot important trends—showing you how each of your pain types change and how different medications or treatments are impacting your symptoms.
TRACK IT BETTER. TREAT IT BETTER.
Chronic pain can be difficult to treat if your doctor isn’t fully aware of all your symptoms, but you can help. A very important question to ask is: Is your pain nociceptive—due to injury or damage to bones, joints, muscles, skin, or organs? Or is it neuropathic—from nerve damage in your central or peripheral nervous system? Perhaps your pain is nociplastic—caused by abnormal pain signal processing in the central nervous system? By keeping a daily record of your symptoms with Nanolume® Pro, you can help your healthcare team gain better insight into your diagnosis and create a more effective treatment plan.
KEY FEATURES:
• Create a Diary Entry: Choose a pain type, mark its intensity, and outline its location by tracing the perimeter on the body map.
• Track Multiple Pain Types: If needed, you can outline multiple pain types in the same diary entry to show how they overlap and interact.
• Detailed Data: View the intensity, location, and surface area of each pain type. Charts and animations help you identify trends.
• Supporting Information: Add notes about medications, weather, or activities that might impact your pain.
• Backdating: Miss a day? You can go back and recreate past entries to keep your record complete.
• Editing: Made a mistake? Edit your pain map layers at any time.
• Unlimited Entries: Track as many entries as you need each day.
• Export Your Data: Share or save your pain journal as a PDF or CSV file.

Fantastic app!!
This app is amazing! I have been using an earlier version for over a year now. I have been suffering for peripheral neuropathy for over 13 years and with this app I can now document exactly where my pain is on daily basis or even more frequently if needed. Then I can share a history of my pain with my doctor showing the ups and downs over time as we try different things to help alleviate it. It even automatically keeps track of the weather when you make an entry in case that has an influence on your treatment. Makes things so much easier when discussing with your doc.

Excellent app
The pain MD who developed this app was my healthcare provider several years ago and introduced me to this app. I’ve used it off and on when I’ve been in pain flares, when I’m trying new medicines and treatments, when I was showing other healthcare providers my pain patterns and levels, and when I applied for SSDI which I got in three months. I think the printed forms were very helpful for the latter. I’ve found this app to be user friendly and excellent for its purpose. I highly recommend it.

No female option?
Downloaded this to visualize my endometriosis pain. Immediately deleted when I realized there is no female option. How am I supposed to accurately pinpoint where my pain is happening on a man’s body? Such a massive oversight with such an easy fix.

I have suffered from pains mostly related to my lower back for decades now. I have sciatica and have been able to avoid surgery so far. I’m almost 62 years old now. I really have enjoyed having the Nanolume app to help me keep track of my pain overtime. It’s been very useful to share it with my medical providers. It makes it really easy for them to see where my pain is and it’s made it easier for them to develop different treatment plans, including physical therapy and other pain treatments. The Nanolume app just puts it out really plainly simply in nice colors, really makes it easy to visualize my pain. Not only to myself, but to others. I love it!
