Major Flaw in Icelandic text’s Thorn and Eth characters
App has an excellent idea about learning Icelandic. The way the app is set up is well structured and organized with sample sentences and exercises for reading and speech. There is one major problem though and this has me very frustrated as it is unfair to those trying to learn this language. There are several instances in the conversations and vocab were words are not spelled with the correct characters and then don’t translate correctly in turn. In these cases, the characters for ‘Eth’ and ‘Thorn’ do not show correctly and result in ‘ū’ for ‘thorn’ and ‘d’ with a horizontal line bisecting the upper stick of the ’d’ in place of ‘Eth’. In cases where this error occurs, the affected words do not translate correctly or not at all. If this gets fixed, the rating for this app would easily be a 4/5 stars. Please fix this promptly.
