Quick Trip Planning
I saw this app was out and grabbed it hoping it would avoid the auto logout issue I have when accessing the travel portal via the regular Amex app - NOPE! Same problem, auto logout after 5 minutes of supposed inactivity. If you can plan your trips in 5 minutes or less you’ll love it. Pathetic for a premium travel oriented card.

Good Idea. Poor Execution
I was initially excited for the streamlined experience. My expectation was a single UI without a cross platform pivot (requesting the web based page) which would cause me to leave the app. However, upon checking my trips, that’s exactly what happened. I was pivoted to the web based Amex portal and also prompted to re-authenticate. If Amex can keep everything in house on the app—boom— 5 stars.
