About Finlet: things & thoughts
Inspired by Zhuangzi's wisdom, Finlet isn't just a minimalist todo and jot app – it's your partner for a lighter way of living. It helps you capture the essential "fish" (key tasks or insights) and gently forget the "net" (the tool itself).
It’s not your typical reminder app, nor a note-hoarding vault. If you, like us: crave focus over constant pings, prefer capturing points & sparks to rigid plans, and have a mind buzzing with ideas needing a calm space... then you might just love Finlet.
Four Spaces:
• Now: Where today's focus resides; as is Now, flow within.
• Morrow: Where future thoughts gather; no thought for the Morrow.
• Gone: Where completed things rest; gone, gone, gone beyond.
• Flow: Where insights and ideas land; meaning found, words fade.
Effortless Experience:
• Simple: Clean design, helping you focus.
• Natural: Smooth gestures, delightful haptics & sound.
• Widgets: Quick access to Now & Flow on the go.
• No Nagging: No deadlines, no reminders. Your flow, your rules.
Data & Privacy:
• iCloud Sync: Safe, seamless sync across your devices.
• Private: No sign-up needed. Your data is yours alone.
• Export: Export your data as Markdown files anytime, keeping you in control.

I love it and it’s so helpful and just what I was looking for <3
I randomly stumbled upon the creator sharing this app on Reddit, and I am hooked (pun intended). My usual to do lists / reminders app on my phone just ends up being a long list of never revisited items. I think the mix of my harder items and my daily items all in my lists overwhelms me. The simplicity of Finlet is the app I have finally totally stuck with the organize my routine. Having an overall list which I can easily move tasks to the “do first/right now” list makes everything feel less daunting and helps get the ball rolling for harder tasks by starting with smaller and achievable items. The more free text flow section saves my general ideas/follow ups that aren’t “check off-able”. I super appreciate that this app is also usable without large purchase needs or subscription etc. as someone with adhd this works with my brain so well and I can’t recommend it enough !
