By pairing the camera with the app via Bluetooth®, you can transfer captured images and videos to your smartphone or tablet, and view the transferred images in Gallery and Album. Photos taken in FILM CAMERA MODE can be developed with this app for viewing.
In addition to Bluetooth®, the Wi-Fi® is also used to transfer captured images and movies.
FUJIFILM provides “Activity Record”, a network service that automatically summarizes daily photographic activities in a diary format. To use the “Activity Record”, you need to use the “FUJIFILM XApp” app in addition to this app. The network service may not be available in your region or country.

“X half” provides a function that synchronizes the location information of a smartphone with the camera and records it in the captured image. To reduce the battery drain of your smartphone, please set the location information synchronisation interval to a longer time from the “X half” menu.

App made me return the camera
I like the camera. It’s unique and gets me thinking creatively but the app experience is terrible. Sometimes I’m just not able to get the camera to connect to the phone. The first time it happened I paired the camera with my phone again. The second time it happened I gave up. This all occurred within 48 hours of owning the camera which means this will happen continuously. Considering the price I’d rather not deal with so I’m returning the camera.

Hit or miss connection to camera
Worked for a few months but now fails to connect to transfer photos. Hoping for an update that lets it reconnect to the camera reliably

Consistent problems with connectivity. Fix this. This is a large appeal of the camera.

Hopefully Fuji can patch the connection problem. More often than not, I cannot connect the camera with the app and have to re-register the whole device every time which is frustrating

Works great
Just had my first go with transferring images via the Bluetooth. Idk why some of the other reviewers are running into issues but everything was fast and easy. Connection was stable. I kept my camera in my lap and my phone right by it and transfer of 15 images took less than a minute.
