The app experience has four parts:

Follow a curated, guided roadmap of information and resources starting from the point of diagnosis. Want to skip around? You can explore topics in any order, at your own pace.
2. LIBRARY
Explore topic-based educational content from ALZ.org, organized for easy access. Find answers to common questions about Alzheimer’s or other dementias, caregiving and future planning. Content updates over time to match where you are in your journey.
3. COMMUNITY
Connect with your nearest Alzheimer’s Association chapter for support groups, local events and programs. Find trusted community resources based on your location.
4. ACTIVITY CENTER
Discover interactive tools and creative activities designed to help you stay engaged. Includes planning tools, brain-stimulating activities and caregiving strategies.

My ALZ Journey was created with input from people living with dementia and care partners, so it speaks directly to the real-life needs and challenges people face after a diagnosis.

Not for later stages
Don’t bother downloading if you are a caregiver to someone in later stages. Apparently we don’t need help and support when they end up in a facility.

I was nervous to open this app. I thought it might tell me things I wasn’t ready to hear. But it didn’t do that. The app explained things in a way that made me feel calmer and more in control. That meant a lot. If you’re worried, like I was, give it a try.
