An Awful App and an Awful Credit Union
This is an awful app, which is actually a step backwards from an already terrible app that has been supposedly, “new and improved” by Horizon Federal Credit Union. This awful app manages to obliterate all transactions prior to June 1st 2025. Can you say federal income tax day? Had thoughtlessly thinks that you don’t want to have any information during the fiscal year or even before that. Furthermore, the information from the past is no longer available. This is a cumbersome app that speaks to. The fact that it’s parent organization is very badly run. A credit union is supposed to return profits to. Its customers. Horizon Federal Credit Union charges interest rates of around 7% when it loans money to its members, but it pays its members pathetically low interest rates, something like 0.0021% for the money at loans at 7%. What happens to the supposed of profits? Who knows, but certainly the members don’t see it. I inquired, I was told that the money that should be attributable to the members and end up going into “operating expenses,” which I believe they include capital expenses, such as new office buildings. My advice is to run, not walk, away from this credit union. Terrible interest rates; an awful website for online banking that is practically unusable; and commonly in staircase, sloppy recordkeeping so that they cannot retrieve financial records that they are required to maintain by federal law. My advice is to run, don’t walk, to some other credit union. Stay away from this one.

Not Great
I have to keep enabling Face ID and the quick balance features. There’s a glitch that happens in the app that causes these to become disabled the day after they’re enabled. Otherwise, it does what I need it to do
