About Folio – Save now. Read later.
Pocket is shutting down — but the spirit of it lives on in Folio.
Folio is a read-it-later app for people who love to read, watch, and learn. Save articles, videos, and stories from anywhere, and come back to them when you’re ready — on your phone, tablet, or computer.
It’s like bookmarking, but better. Clean, simple, and built for focus.
What you can do with Folio:
• Save in one tap – From your browser, favorite apps, or anywhere you find something interesting.
• Read without distractions – Enjoy a quiet, beautifully formatted reading experience — just you and the words.
• Take your time – Everything you save is synced across devices and available offline.
• Listen instead – Turn articles into audio and catch up on your saved stories hands-free.
• Find new favorites – Get thoughtful recommendations based on what you save.
Folio turns the web into your personal library. Whether you’re commuting, relaxing, or deep in research, it’s the best place to save what matters — and come back when it matters most.

Lack of instructions/support
There is no helpful instructions except for setting up the “save to” function, which incidentally does not work on my iPad Pro 2nd GeN, although it does work on other more current devices. I can find no help on organizing my saves, can’t figure out how to TAG an item, etc. All I have is a long list of unorganized saved articles. The app seems half-baked.

The best save-for-later app
I was a long time Pocket user and was so upset when Pocket was shut down. Folio is a clean and simple read it later app that has all the best parts of Pocket and then some. Article saves with a single click. A clean, ad-free reading experience. Easily searching across all my saved articles. I had over 10,000 articles saved in Pocket and was able to easily import all of them to Folio with a few clicks. I’ve added Folio to my share menu and I’m back to how things always were with Pocket.
