Ads Cause Page Movement

****Update on January 5, 2026***** There was an app update during the last week of 2025 and guess what?? Yes, the page moves when I’m reading a story!! It’s caused by an ad imbedded in the story. Because of this, I took away 2 stars again. It’s annoying!! I hope someone from Sinclair reads this review and can let the dev know. I am using ios 18.7.2. Thank you. *****Update on May 12, 2025**** I am adding two stars back to my previous review because it appears that the page movement issue has been fixed. The problem of text being cut off on the right side of the screen has not been fixed. See my June 27, 2024 comments below for the full description. Thank you. *****UPDATE September 3, 2024***** I am removing another star after the 8/28/24 update. The original problem of the page jumping due to the advertisements has gotten much worse after this update. You cannot read t headline without this happening. Also the text being cut off has not been fixed either. **UPDATE June 27,2024** After many updates since my original problem report which is listed below, it has still not been fixed. Now there is a new problem as of about two updates ago. When looking at the article list, and the word UPDATED appears in orange to the right of the picture, AND the text to the right is more than 3 lines, the right edge of each line is cut off, typically losing one word. I also noticed that this app was taking up 1.05GB of space on my iPhone. Uninstalling and reinstalling brought the size down to a respectable 135MB. It seems odd that the Documents & Data was able to climb to 900MB. I hope these issues can be fixed. I don’t see a way to contact the Sinclair developer so you’re getting it on here from me. Thank you. —————————————————————— ***Original problem from 10/24/23**** This is by-far my favorite news app. I’ve been using it for a few years. The layout, captions, font sizes are great and I can’t remember any crashes. The one problem that continues to occur, and this happened on my iPhone X and now on my iPhone 11 is that as you slowly scroll down to view the main article headings, as soon as it gets to where the ads (between articles) appear, it makes the page jump and the story headline that I was viewing is now at the top of the screen, barely visible. iOS is always kept up to date, currently on 17.0.3. Got the latest app update today - 10/24/23 and this issue still occurs. Thank you. UPDATE on 12/18/23 There have been 6 app version updates since I reported this on 10/24/23, but the issue that I am having still continues. I am currently on IOS 17.2. I hope the developers can figure this out, it’s fairly annoying. Thank you.

No sound

I have several news channels on my pad and have sound for all except CBS21 news app...I have gone into settings..I have tapped on everything I can tap..I even deleted and reinstalled app several times...very disappointed as I would probable delete the other news apps if this one would work.
