How Breathing Disruption Detection Works

The app analyzes the sequence of sounds around any long silence followed by a snore to detect a potential breathing interruption. A Breathing Disruption is flagged when three distinct conditions are met in immediate sequence:

1. Breathing Context: The minute before the silence must contain enough natural breathing sounds to establish a baseline.

2. Significant Silence: This is followed by a period of near-complete audio silence lasting 10 seconds or more.

3. Sudden Recovery: The long silence must be immediately broken by a loud snore signal that exceeds the noise floor of the silent period by a significant margin, indicating a sudden, sharp recovery sound.
