It’s giving cash grab
I received a contract that was literally 6 bullet points and a couple of typos. But still.. it’s a legally binding contract because I signed it. The owner later tried to enforce new “policies.” I politely asked to see the contract I signed.. no mention of these new policies in my contract AND no mention of additional fees, which had been regularly charged to my credit card for weeks (and not agreed to in the contract I signed). The owner then proposes I sign a new contract.. which I don’t have to agree to because there’s already an active contract in place. Bro.. she literally locks the app, so I’m not able to schedule new classes (so now I HAVE to sign a new agreement accepting fees 😭😂) and suddenly her husband starts emailing me with his tone.. like sir.. are you alright?? I’m literally calm and polite and your tone is screaming rn. Between the inconsistent membership prices (prices yo-yo more than the # on my scale 🥴), restricting the app, the tone in the follow up emails, and fees I never agreed to, it's honestly starting to feel like a cash grab rather than a stable membership. Certainly not what a "professional business" would do. Like if you have to keep reminding everyone you're a "professional business" after a certain point it's like.. who are you really trying to convince? Your clients or yourself? 🪞✨ This has been my personal experience as a founding member. Locked into a 12 month contract.. additional fees later introduced.. restricted scheduling access until I accept new fees. AND newer members locked into a lower rates. Huh?? Isn’t the point of Founders pricing.. that it’s lower because those members took a risk on a new business? Oh, I took a risk alright 🥲
