How Fictivity works
- As a part of its many functionalities, Fictivity offers free, unlimited access to public content on Archive of Our Own ("AO3") through an in-app browser that offers alternative layout and styling for a better user experience. To reduce user effort, Fictivity navigates the in-app browser programmatically based on various forms of explicit user input. Therefore its interface does not include conventional browser elements like address bars. Being a web browser at its core, Fictivity does not and has no need to scrape or host content itself. Fictivity does not own or endorse any content accessed with it.
- Fictivity provides user-friendly mechanisms for readers to visit and engage on AO3 through regular web browsers.
- Fictivity is ad-free and does not sell user data, which means when a user uses Fictivity for free, it is truly free.

Keeping the Devs Awake
Great features, my favorite being able to “share” the ao3 fics to the app, dark mode for reading at night, and the ability to customize fonts. Great app all around and worth a download for sure.

Buggy (update)
Fictivity is good, but it has this bug for when a story updates, the app doesn’t show the actual new chapter that was added, doesn’t matter the amount of times i refresh it or use the “check for updates” button, it just won’t update, i was told to delete the app and download it again for it to update but in reality, who wants to keep doing that? There is another bug with the writing itself, when reading, i realize some sentences are missing, so when i highlight it and leave the app, it pops up but doing this repeatedly does get annoying, i hope both of these bugs do get fixed ASAP, cause the app is good. (( App is way better now, updated my review))
