About Sunrise Alarm for Smart Lights
Instead of a jarring alarm, you set your lights to gradually brighten over a custom duration (anywhere from 5 to 90 minutes). This light-based wake-up is designed to align with your body’s natural circadian rhythm, helping you feel more refreshed, alert, and less groggy.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Set your wake-up time and sunrise duration.
2. Choose your lights, max brightness, and color.
3. The app creates a simple, reliable automation in Apple Home.
That's it! It's "set it and forget it." No need to keep the app open or running.
FEATURES
- Uses Your Existing Lights: Works with the Apple Home lights you already own.
- Fully Customizable: Set wake-up time, sunrise duration (5-90 min), brightness, and color.
- Unlimited Alarms: Create multiple wake-up profiles for weekdays, weekends, or even naps.
- Simple & Reliable: Creates native HomeKit automations that run directly from your Home Hub (Apple TV, HomePod, or iPad).

It just works, also a suggestion
I bought this, and tested it with my lights on a dimmer, some RGBWW LED strips, some RGB smart light bulbs, and some RGBWW smart light bulbs. And it works with all of them. I can mix the types of lights to be used with each wake-up alarm, and I can stagger their turn-on times. The main thing I would like to see added is the ability to use it for going to bed, where I start a “slowly turn the lights off” routine to tell my body that it’s about time to go to sleep. That would be awesome.
