AI features are surprisingly useful
What I love most about Mealie AI is the AI Hub. The food scan works amazingly well. I can just snap a picture of something I’m eating, and it identifies the dish and gives me the nutrition instantly. The recipe scan is just as impressive. I’ve been able to take photos of handwritten or printed recipes and the app turns them into neat, saved recipes in seconds. No typing needed. And the chat feature is like having a personal cooking assistant. I’ve asked for substitutions, quick recipe ideas, and even saved the recipes it suggested. These features actually work in real life, and they’ve made cooking so much more convenient for me. Highly recommend!
