WHAT IS HIDDEN KING CHESS?
A chess variation born from the Reddit community. This original board game twist adds psychological warfare to classic chess. Every piece could be the King. Can you find it before yours is captured?
This is Chess meets Mafia meets Bluff. A perfect party game for chess lovers who want something fresh.
HOW IT WORKS
The board, pieces, and moves are exactly the same as standard chess. But there is one twist.
At the start of each game, one of your pieces is randomly selected as your Hidden King. Your opponent does not know which piece it is, and you do not know theirs.
All 16 pieces could be the King.
Pieces move exactly as in normal chess.
Capture your opponent's Hidden King to win.
If your Hidden King is captured, you lose.
Simple rules. Deep strategy. Pure psychological warfare.
THE GUESS SYSTEM
Not sure which piece is the opponent's King? You can guess.
You have 3 guess attempts per game.
Select any opponent's piece to check if it is the King.
Correct guess means you know the target.
Wrong guess means one attempt lost, but no penalty.
Use your guesses wisely. Watch how your opponent protects certain pieces. Read their bluffs.
