Inner Kung Fu: 10 Years
Balance your personal energies. Tested since 2016.
Inner Kung Fu was first released in 2016 and has been practiced for about 10 years.
This system uses 9 core moves - awareness spaces around the body.
Five come from a movement psychologist’s work, inspired by Musashi’s Five Elements of strategy:
• Water, Wind, Fire, Ground (Earth), and Void
To make the practice useful for everyday life, not just martial situations, it was expanded to include:
• Self, Other, World, Left, and Right
The practice can be done sitting, though standing is better.
Focus on the spaces around your body to improve awareness of yourself, others, and your environment. Small circular movements increase health, and gently pushing in each direction builds strength.
Each space carries a behavioral strategy:
• Fire = engage
• Earth = stop
• Wind = avoid
• Water = allow flow
This app also includes a simple exercise routine with qigong movements and mudras to help you focus both around and within your body.
